Bloom by Anna Schuleit is an installation in the soon to be demolished Massachusetts Mental Health Center. Anna and her team filled the center with a variety of nearly 28,000 plants and invited past patients and family to reflect on their time there.

We went to Wakehurst place to visit Kew garden’s seed bank there, I find the idea of seed banks very comforting somehow. National Geographic keeps featuring articles about how food production needs to increase to keep up with world population (one of the arguments of eating less meat!), in the July issue I remember there being a possibly rather attractive looking place in Norway which appears to be filled with vials of peas! I wish I could find further pictures of the building it looks like it could be something like this).
Anyway, early flowering makes me nervous in case of frost and I’m going to spend some of my Christmas money on a National Trust membership.
